What We Offer
Every person brings a unique story. The services below are starting points — in practice, our work together is shaped entirely by you.
One-on-one sessions tailored entirely to you. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, low self-worth, or simply feeling stuck, we work together at a pace that feels right. Sessions are a space to be honest, to be heard, and to begin making sense of what you're carrying.

Trauma doesn't always look the way we expect. It can show up as hypervigilance, numbness, difficulty trusting, or a persistent sense that something is wrong. Using gentle, evidence-based approaches, we work at the pace of your nervous system — building safety before anything else.

Change — even welcome change — can be disorienting. Career shifts, relationship endings or beginnings, grief, relocation, becoming a parent, or stepping into a new chapter of life. Counselling helps you find your footing and move forward with clarity and intention.

When exhaustion runs deeper than tiredness, it's a signal worth listening to. Burnout often builds slowly — through overcommitment, perfectionism, or simply not having enough space to recover. Together, we explore what's driving it and rebuild a life that feels sustainable.

Anxiety can be relentless — the racing thoughts, the what-ifs, the physical tension that never quite leaves. We work to understand what your anxiety is trying to protect you from, and develop practical, compassionate strategies to loosen its grip.

Canyon Counselling offers specialist forensic counselling and consulting services at the intersection of mental health and the legal system. This includes therapeutic support for individuals involved in legal proceedings, psychological consultation for legal professionals, and informed input on matters relating to trauma, risk, and behaviour. Work in this area is approached with the same care and rigour that underpins all Canyon Counselling services — grounded in evidence, sensitive to complexity, and always centred on the person.

How It Works
01
Before we begin, we have a brief phone or video call — no cost, no commitment. It's a chance for you to ask questions and for us to see if we're a good fit.
02
We take time to understand your story, what's brought you here, and what you're hoping for. There's no pressure to have it all figured out.
03
Sessions are typically weekly or fortnightly. We review progress regularly and adjust our approach as you grow and your needs evolve.
Fees & Access
Session fees are discussed during our initial conversation. Concession rates are available, and I'm happy to talk through what's workable for your situation — cost should never be the reason you don't seek support.
Medicare rebates may be available with a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP. Please get in touch to discuss your options.
